For You Page is Not Updating

So for some context my computer was completely wiped a couple days ago and I usually watch tiktok on my computer (obviously its connected to my account so its on this google email).

But after I started my computer again and logged back in my perfectly curated for you page was absolutely GONE and now its the stupid really popular ones so I watched ALL of my bookmarks, opened like 20 of my fav hashtags and looked through my folders AND I liked more videos on the shows I watched.

But its been 3 days and my for you page still hasn't updated and I'm not sure what to do because i ADORED my previous page it was perfect and just what I like and I might actually crash out if I can't bring it back. (i have tried on google and the brave browser but both haven't updated and its ONLY tiktok not any other website)

Please say someone knows what to do!

TikTok has officially turned into a sellout dump. A few years ago, it was actually possible to find interesting content there, and the whole experience felt like fun.

I used to post videos with basic filters and music just for entertainment, and they would get decent views without any extra effort.

Now, the "For You" page is pure psychological torture. The algorithm keeps shoving some freaks in masks and twitchy Americans down my throat, and it is physically unpleasant to watch. I’ve tried everything: liking, blocking, reporting, contacting support. It doesn’t matter. It’s like they are force-feeding you garbage.

The truth is simple: if you don’t pay, you don't play. The algorithm is fueled by greed. If you’ve ever tried paid promotion once, they’ll kill your organic reach just to make sure you understand that nothing works for free anymore. They will intentionally suppress your good content while pushing idiotic videos to people who couldn't care less.

TikTok Shop is another disaster. The moment you tag a product link, your video dies because they want you to pay for that exposure too.

And don't even get me started on the music. It’s painful to listen to what’s trending. Artists pay massive amounts of money so that TikTok can assign creators to use their trash tracks. I see these tasks from the inside, and it’s pathetic.

Add to that the ridiculous shadowbans for wearing a regular tank top or a swimsuit, and the cherry on top: they block my own music. Trying to explain to these "gods" that the song was uploaded via DistroKid and belongs to me is a waste of time. They think they can do whatever they want. It’s disgusting.
