Issues with fyp

Recently, my for you page randomly reset to showing me content I have no interest in at all. I've tried looking up other videos to get the fyp back on track, saying I'm not interested in the videos that appear, clearing the cache, and deleting and (undeleting since I can't say it otherwise) the app, but none of it worked.

The closest I've come to fixing it is that after leaving the app for a while and opening it back up, it sometimes shows a few videos from content I like, before going back to the "base" version of the fyp, if that makes sense.

Anyone experiencing the same thing? Is this a server thing? If so why isn't anyone saying anything about it?
