When I repost a video on my tiktok stories it cuts it to 10 seconds and even lesser than that

Even if the video is short like only 20 seconds it cuts it to 10 seconds. When I post a note it lasts 5 seconds. Is anybody else also experiencing this? I only see a few people who have the same issue. It sucks because you see all your friends and they can even repost/post on their stories of videos that last 30 seconds or more!
