tiktok desktop wont let me like

Idk why the tiktok browser is so bad. Sometimes I just like browsing from my computer but whenever I try to like a video after 5 seconds it just unlikes the video. I've tried refreshing, clearing cache, relogging in, different browser. It used to work just find but recently its just unusable.
