Why am I not gaining followers?

I’ve been stuck on a very low following for a while now, and despite positive feedback on the vids Ive posted; I haven’t had much luck with gaining a following. I post social commentary vids mainly but it’s more like a personal page which showcases my personality. It’s notrllyyahya on the app if u want to assess it. Thanks.
