Why is TikTok only showing my videos to my friends/not pushing it onto the FYP?

Why is TikTok only showing my videos to my friends/not pushing it onto the FYP? I’m so frustrated and upset, I feel like I don’t get as many views anymore when I feel like my content is the same/better. Genuine questions if anyone knows how to fix this. Seems like a shadow ban, but for how long?!
