What does this specifically mean?

So I got a product, but when I go to return it, it tells me this. Has anyone encountered this before, and can you please tell me what actually happened? I am looking to return it because it is a size too big, and I want to actually buy it back in a smaller size. Will the coupon I get have a min. spend, or will it be like a collection of small coupons? Thanks
