I just created a new TikTok account and nothings working.

I created a new tiktok account and nothing seems to be working, I use the website version on Desktop Site so I can do more things, but when I like a video the like goes away a few seconds later or after a refresh of the page, same with follows. Now I thought just to wait a full 24 hours or so before trying again, and i thought I could upload videos because it let me upload my FIRST tiktok, but when I tried uploading a second one, it didn't show up anywhere when I posted. I did log in and log back out a couple times after creation of the account because it was being a little difficult, so I think thats where the problem came from. How do I go about fixing this?
