If you make AI video, your contents may have been flagged for not eligible for FYP. They won't push to anyone.

I’ve never gotten more than like 17K views on TikTok, but I too have noticed that my views are just ridiculously low and I’m always getting notifications now that I should be paying to promote… IDK what’s going on, but I’ve been posting to YouTube and I’m much happier.

The algorithm is random, don’t believe people who Said it’s Watch Time or blabla whatever

And then there's me that finally got a few thousand views on my post but turns out it's all bot infested 😤. Like all the people that have followed me directly from the post have similar content, similar usernames, AI stuff and whatnot. Like whyyyyyy ugh. I give up honestly

Yeah if you can pay to have more views and engagement then to me the same logic tracks in the opposite direction. No pay to boost videos equals low views imo. I finally managed to get 1k followers and they start pushing you to do live content and basically trying to bribe you to make certain content. Lol not doing that nor have I ever spent a single dime on the app via paid views or anything from their shop. Tbf the content I have made on there is mostly for my enjoyment because I like their editing software. Even with my piddly follow count and inconsistent posting I still average about 500 to 800 views. So I wouldn't doubt it for a second that your content in being purposely throttled.

Yes. I am convinced they throttle your account once they sniff out you are trying to promote something of yours and not paying them for ads. I have two accounts that post EXACTLY THE SAME content in close time proximity - on one I consistently get less than 100 views whereas it's 1k for the same video, like for like, on the other. Guess which one of these accounts gets messages re: paying for promo 🙄
