Why has TikTok become full of far-right people?

There are a lot of people on TikTok promoting ideologies against interracial mixing and immigration, sometimes posting very racist videos. At what point did TikTok become so politicized and shift toward the far right? It used to just be an app with dance trends that were a bit cringey, but fine. I don’t understand when it went from that to a platform where you see far-right content and people criticizing you for being in a relationship with a non-white person
