How to get rid of comment restriction

Does anyone know how long the comment restriction is?

I received a notification a few days ago saying that I won't be able to comment due to a restriction. I saw a few people reported that when you comment too fast, you get this restriction because the system thinks you are spamming. I was not spamming, I was just replying to people’s comments all at once. Does anyone know how long it lasts? Is it permanent? This is the first time it has happened to me.
