I've been getting emails from tiktok but i don't have my email connected to my tiktok account

For the past few days I've gotten a couple emails from tiktok about new posts from people i follow and similar stuff. The emails state that they are directed to my actual tiktok account, but when i go to the settings of said account, it shows that there is no email account connected. The emails don't seem to be a scam, but then I have no idea where they got my email from.
