Dms glitching

Is anyone else dms glitched and scrambled out of order. Every time I text I can watch my DMs in real time start moving around and I'm so confused why. Sometimes it happens when I'm not looking at my DMs and I get so confused of what I'm replying about because the context no longer makes sense because the DM has moved somewhere else.
