Sudden drop to 1–2 views on TikTok videos (was 300–500) — possible glitch or account issue?

Could just be me, but TikTok is AWFUL lately. The algorithm is barely pushing content - even when I get good likes/comments. And others in my specific niche have said the exact same thing to me. But it could just be us, cause there are other accounts in our niche doing decently. Not sure.

Same thing has happened to me, sucks really bad. I’m an artist and I have a record coming out in a month and I’m considering delaying it because I have a following on TikTok and literally none of my videos are getting more than a couple views for the past several weeks. Sucks so bad

Happened to me too. Dunno why. I suspect it is one or several of the following:

a) TikTok is "testing" their automated non-existant "support" on people, see how they react.

b) "Emotional harvesting" (a real thing). Basically - they screw over a bunch of people, so a bunch of people get upset, and they find it super funny/hilarious and actually 'feel good' when other people are upset.

c) Trying to figure out how to pay people even less than the crumbs they give people (just pure greed), so randomly "flag accounts", but falsify data that you see - but they still benefit from your content.

Could also be other things too.

I got a video with 500k + views and now my content isn't be pushed out lol

This happened to me too. Thought it was a shadowbanning, but it says my account is fine. I cleared the cache, I updated and reinstalled.

Me too, got recommended this post because I’ve been obsessively researching what’s going on 😭 Recently had a video do really well but starting a few days ago my posts only get views from friends and can’t add them to my story, and my old posts barely get any new views. My analytics are tragic. I tried using the help centre bot but got stuck in a loop of it asking for a video link, and then it said it couldn’t help me with this issue and closed the ticket. I really can’t be bothered to start a new account so I hope it sorts itself out eventually, not even fussed about my old videos I just want new stuff on the FYP like normal

Happening to me aswell. Awful timing too bc I have a few brand collabs planned but the views are like 3 per vid. Can you upload posts to your story by any chance? That button has completely disappeared for me 

This seems to be happening to a lot of people. More and more every day. Can’t add to stories, barely 10 views. Support is bots. Closes the ticket. Trying to email people at TikTok to find a solution!

Has to be a platform bug because it’s happening to so many people right now. It started happening to me a week ago
