Always get stuck at 200 views with what I view as pretty high engagement

I see that my videos get what Im pretty sure is considered high engagement initially e.g. my latest example is a 5 second clip, in 3 minutes 200 views, 10 likes, 2 comments, 29 shares. But then the next 10-15 minutes like 10 views. Why? Like i understand when no one likes or shares. Average watch time is 4.7s on a 5.2s clip. 30% watched the full thing. It happens with quite a few of my videos.

algorithm probably testing your content with small audience first then decides if it's worth pushing further. those initial engagement numbers look decent but maybe it needs even higher rates to break through to next tier

your watch time is solid though - 4.7s on 5.2s clip is actually really good retention

If the clip is 5s anything under 100% retention is not good, (not hating but just saying) you also have to ask yourself how much value can your five second clip have and TikTok knows that many clips that short offer anything
