can't see replies to my comments

whenever i reply to a comment and the person replies back i cant see what they said i dont even get a notification for it in my inbox, i only found this out when i switched to my other acct and saw that they replied to me but i just never received a notification. now everytime i comment and view it on my other account i can see that others replied but i cant from my main its annoying asf. does anyone know how to fix this wtf
