ok I have one viral post of over near 250k views, other some what big, since I hit 5000 followers, seems most I can get is 800. last two post, initial post is like below 100, I think I am done with TikTok. I do Gen ❌ questions, polls etc. I just started the account in Jan. 5885 followers. Is this normal, is TikTok wanting me to buy promote?? Diwnvote if you want ,but it's excruciating.
You’re experiencing what a lot of us are, some kind of mass shadow ban I think. Lots of people reporting the same as you - me included. Started the account 2 months ago, had a viral post 2m which gave all other content a boost too and then views and engagement dropped off a cliff. No help from support. Hopefully we can ride it out in the next few weeks.
They bought Tiktok to suppress it and force users over to other platforms... if it isn't obvious from them not paying countless creators and mass account suppression and wanting everyone to pay for views.
Just put your new channel or website in your bio and get off Tiktok. We can't undo what's been done to it.
Got 12k followers barely cracking 500 views in my last posts
I went through that a few weeks ago,I had a feeling it was the shoppable videos that they told us to keep posting. The algorithm was looking at it as spam i took off a day posted one shoppable and just a funny something for a week and my numbers went back up
I used to get thousands, sometimes hundreds of thousands, hell I even got over a million views on a TT once. I never got under 1k unless the video was actually just ass or got incorrectly flagged as something, but ever since TT got bought I’ve been lucky if I even get 500 views. Weirdly though, I made a secondary TT account and started getting some more views there (still not like it used to be). I also post on Instagram and whenever a TT flops I just post it on Insta and it gets decent views/likes lol
And then they have the audacity to say “you’re outperforming 90% of creators with your follower count!” when I’m at my Lois
Same here, I'm not a big creator but I got lik 3-5k views per vid, my latest one has 6 views. Six.
Support doesn't do anything.
So seems like a mass shadowban
I think it’s normal and just how TikTok works. Each post starts fresh with a new testing bath.. TikTok videos goes to random people on ur FYP first and not ur followers. So some videos will pop off and get lots of views while some will only hit about a couple hundred views. But I believe that’s how people are able to go viral bc of TikTok’s testing phases
Yes I am experiencing the same thing. I don’t have a massive following. I’m at Like maybe 90 followers so far. But I use to get 100- 1,000views on a video and now I’m stuck at anywhere from 0-100
