TikTok live bidding is sus

the recent update that rolled out, I kind of caught onto it. Of course since TikTok was bought by an American they had to infiltrate it with gambling, and ive been noticing a large influx of TikTok lives with live biddings instead of my usual ASMR lives I prefer.

I am curious to if anyone’s ever tried out those bidding surprise auctions, and if you actually won the stuff they say they have. Most live streams have Solo or Duo members flashing Apple products or something luxurious and get you to bid.
