Hi everyone,

I’m looking into starting TikTok as a side income, but I realistically don’t have much time to create fully original video content from scratch every day.

Because of that, I was considering reuploading other people content that is viral and without watermark.

My question is mainly about how TikTok handles this type of content:

• How strict is TikTok’s system in detecting re-uploaded or reused videos?
• Does the platform recognize duplicate content across accounts (video/audio fingerprinting)?
• Would compilation/curated content affect eligibility for monetization programs?
• Are there any safe or accepted ways to build a channel around curated content ?

I’m trying to understand what is actually realistic before investing time into this direction.
