Age restriction

I was on tiktok and i accidentally pressed ‘Go Live!’ and it told me that I had to verify my age and told me to scan my face so i did, but it said it couldn’t verify my age. A few hours later, I check back on my account and see age-restrictions on my account updates and now I’m completely blocked from messaged any of my friends, even the ones I have 500+ days of streaks with.

It’s telling me the only way to get my account un-age restricted is to show my ID or passport, which I don’t want to do as I am 16 and don’t really want to send offical documents to an AI and i’ve heard it doesn’t even work either.

Is there any other way to remove the age-restriction? I don’t want to go live or verify my age, I just want my account to go back to the way it was where i could dm my friends. Anything is appreciated!
