Not showing as friends

Hey everyone,

I added someone on TikTok whose account was private. He accepted my follow request and followed me back. My account is private too, and we both show up as following each other.

The weird thing is that we’re not showing up as friends/mutuals. It’s been about 4 days now and nothing has changed.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug, or is there something else that could cause it?
