Hi tiktok noob here. I've been posting recently and the views aren't huge, like 200-700 but i have a high(ish) like count. Example I have a video with 270 views and 26 likes or 165 views and 20 likes.
Is that a good engagement rate? Is it worth boosting the post?
To be blunt and answer your question, yes 10% likes to views ratio is good. I used to think this mattered, and maybe it did at one point, but after 3.5 years I’ve realized that the CURRENT state of TikTok is just absolutely broken.
Likes and reposts don’t seem to increase view count. I think it’s based on watch time and favorites right now for some reason. I hate this app so much as it stands, something needs to change
