Why is reposting messed up for me rn?

So like u know how you can repost smth and then hit the edit button after and write a little note on it for your friends to see? and how you can reply to your friends' reposts and say smth? why is that suddenly gone for me rn and how do i get it back. it was fine this morning?
Also: i remember at the top of the screen it being more than just "following" and "for you" but that's all i have now
how do i go back to how it was this morning
