can you view a private profile with a 3rd party app?

one of my old friends is in jail. we had a falling out but i miss her videos and wish i could watch them one last time for some personal closure. i unfollowed her of course but now she is private so i can’t see a thing. is there ANY way around this that is not a scam? tia
