Would you use a short-video TikTok feed where you can customize the content yourself?
I like short videos, but my feed often feels like whatever is popular, loud, or addictive, not always what I actually want to watch.
Sometimes I open it for a quick break, but end up getting pulled into random viral content that I didn’t even care about.
That made me wonder if the problem is not short videos themselves, but the way the feed is designed.
Would you use a short-video feed where you choose the categories yourself, instead of relying fully on the algorithm?
For example, choosing things like music, scenery, travel, comedy, relaxing videos, or other categories depending on your mood.
The goal would be to make short-video breaks feel more intentional and easier to stop, instead of getting pulled into random viral content.
Curious if this is something other people would actually want, or if most people prefer a fully algorithmic feed.
