Has anyone's FYP completely changed overnight? I feel like I'm going crazy

Mine randomly exclusively became thirst traps, white supremacist, xenophobic, homophobic and anti Islam. its genuinely driving me nuts as i cant get rid of it

That Spanish response is almost certainly a copy-paste template, not a real explanation. TikTok support sends that "we're running an experiment" line to all sorts of complaints because it technically covers anything they want to change without admitting fault. The "your case has been forwarded" follow-up is the other half of the playbook, it sounds proactive but usually goes nowhere.

What you're describing does happen, though the language jump is particularly strange. Sometimes the algorithm latches onto a single brief interaction you don't even remember, and if it misreads that signal, it can drag your FYP into completely different territory overnight. Reinstalling and using "Not Interested" usually nudges things back within a few days, so if it's been longer than that, something on their backend is likely stuck.

I'd take the experiment framing with a grain of salt. TikTok A/B tests plenty, but they don't typically overhaul someone's entire feed into foreign language content as a planned feature. It reads more like something broke on their side and they're hiding behind the experiment line to dodge accountability.

It seems that its happening to a lot of us, one person commented on another post saying 12 hrs later it randomly went back to normal. Honestly I have no idea whats happening but I think they'll have to fix it unless they want to lose a bunch of people off the app

Update- I think it must be 12 hrs because mines back to normal again thank goodness good luck waiting!!

Mine randomly started showing me AI Shows, Korean Shows, thirst traps and extremist stuff all of the sudden too. Im able to revert back to my normal fyp by going back into my likes and reliking the stuff I actually want but it always comes back
