Tiktok is messed up you're not alone

I have 650k followers and most of my videos for the past 2 weeks have been struggling to even hit 1k views. I post 2 times a day and the occasional video will get 50k views but it's still not what I'm used to. I decided to post a video on my alt account with 2k followers and its been sitting a 0 views for 30 minutes 😭 it's extremely frustrating

the 0 views thing on alts is so weird. i tried posting a test video on a burner account last week and it stayed at 0 for over an hour before anything registered. feels like the system just loses some uploads entirely right now.

my main account is way smaller but the same pattern is happening. posts that usually get a few thousand views are barely scraping 200, then one random clip will blow up out of nowhere. the algorithm seems like it's picking winners at random and ignoring everything else.

a lot of people are noticing the same thing since mid february, makes me think they tweaked something with view counting or bot filtering.

The monetization is an absolute joke now. The first 2 weeks of June I got the additional rewards on every video. The second two weeks I barely got them on any of my videos and I post 1-2 videos per day. I chatted with someone in support who said that not all videos will get the additional reward and that it’s random. The RPM without the additional reward is INFURIATING. A video of mine for 400k views and great engagement and I got 23 cents/1000 views. I hate TT so much now but have to post on there for my UGC gig

Same here I have 600k and can’t break 1k it’s upsetting. I have stopped posting. I wish more creators would protest TikTok by not posting OR scrolling and just not post for a week just to scare them into listening to us. I’d enough of us did it, it would make a statement. They are NOTHING without us. Consumers and creators make that app.

Guys update! Next day I uploaded again and its viral. When tiktok does the same shit, just leave it for that day, do tiny editing and upload with a different caption next day. Almost 60k views

Monetisation is becoming a complete joke. I was getting regular payments and bonus rewards last month and at the beginning of June, and now it’s just completely fallen flat. It’s like someone switched the tap off overnight.

I think they want us to pay to have more views they don’t care about your stats complétion, Watch Time etc it’s been like that for 2 month at least.

i went from getting thousands of likes on my posts to hundreds, a 90% decrease from around 5 days ago until now on the same exact kind of clips, some with insanely good viewer retention. the change was so sudden and consistent they must have changed something. what’s the point in what they’re doing ? it’s a crazy way to run a platform. promotions from that same day also get you 90% less likes and saves its just wild

That's all by design. They want to push you to other platforms. Just focus on creating a main channel on YouTube, that's undeniably the biggest platform in the world. Slower growth but you can link to your YouTube from your Tiktok to signal that YouTube is your new home. It helps to just create a website to build authority in the Google system, so blogger is a decent choice, very cheap to set to a domain to help build your brand name. Set up a schema so you can declare all your social media as your own so Google knows how to put those puzzle pieces together under your brand.

none of my videos have even broken over 500 views all year, it used to be easy to hit a few thousands with a good video. tiktok has done its best to shoot itself in the foot

Mine is still saying my account is not recced bc of impersonation and no matter what I do they won’t change it. Like they approved it once months ago and it went back. Always a network error when trying to appeal as well :(
