Stuck at 200 views after a 1-year break on a 38k account. Is my account dead?

honestly it seems like a lot of people are getting extremely low views right now. my videos have only been shown to my mutuals.

No, your account is not dead. You just need to blast it with three or four videos a day and it may take a while. I left for 2 years and recovered.
However, the views have been very low for everybody right now. Even top creators.

Same, the algorythm is totaly random now. I think they want you to pay

I don’t know what’s going on with TikTok lately but this is happening to a lot of people, including me. My videos would always get at the very least 2k views and for about a month now I’ve been stuck at 100-300 views and I’m lucky if I get 10 likes! It really sucks. I have much better reach on Instagram and YouTube shorts so I recommend posting on those too. Tiktok seems to be pushing content out to the completely wrong audience.

Is this because of low completion rate or?

Just started out, but it seems like posts are really driven by engagement and retention much more than anything else. I have posts that have way higher like to view ratios but get barely any views compared to my posts that drive searches, comments, etc.

don’t worry mate you’re not the only one. I went from 15-20k views to 20 in a single day. Month later nothing changed. No idea what’s happening but something is definitely wrong.
