Quick share glitch? Friend missing from there

Hey everyone
For 4-5 months, my friend (181 day streak) completely vanished from my Send to / Quick share row. I can only find him if I manually search his name. Everyone else is there. I have contacted support 2x times and the Official response said it's 'not a bug, but a current experiment'. It completely ruins the app for me. Has anyone found a fix to opt out or reset this?"
