Suddenly videos get 0 views?

I started this account a couple days ago, so it’s extremely new. Uploaded the first couple posts, got some good views and engagement right off the bat! I had some videos lined up and put up some more.

After that, suddenly everything I post has literally zero views. The videos that have 6/7 views are because I sent it to my friends to view and like to see if it would fix it, but it didn’t. Still literally 0 views.

I’m not sure what’s going on. Is this a shadow ban from posting too frequently? Should I wait a while or make a new account?

Someone who knows what’s going on please let me know what action to take 🥲

Hey! This has been an ongoing issue for a LOT of users including myself (if you can't already see from posts on Reddit and TikTok about it). It seems to just be a bug... It's unfortunate, but you're not alone in this case. It seems like the only way people have been able to fix it is by spamming TikTok support.

Tiktok typically will give more views to newer accounts just to test the account, but after the initial test phase the numbers will go down again. this is pretty normal to be honest. I would say just keep posting, try posting at different times. try using less hashtags. if you're using five, maybe try three or four
