Age verification question 🥲

Hello

Does anyone have expierence using parents ID to age verify a Tiktok account? As in the actual ID and face verification, not sending an email to Tiktok. I dont want to try verifying before asking anyone that may have even a LITTLE experience with this and then get booted off the platform.

I have a decently big Tiktok account, and I have been age restricted the maximum amount meanwhile im 17. And ive heard horror stories of people verifying while being 16-17 with an ID and it just doesnt actually verify them. I really do not want to lose all the followers and support ive gotten 😅
