Users liking my comment but comment is ‘unavailable’?

I got in a back and forth with someone in a comment section (as you do).
Recently whenever I’ve gotten likes on my comment in my inbox and I attempt to go to my original comment through tapping on the preview in the inbox TikTok just tells me that it’s ’unavailable’ despite it still getting likes. So obviously other people can see it but somehow I can’t.

Is it possible that the user I was having a back and forth with blocked me and so I can’t see my comments under theirs? I can still see the OP’s video just not my comments or the user I was having a back and forth with.
