Tiktok wont let me open comments through DM??

Ive looked everywhere and I feel like im the only one having this problem, I can open comments normally through my fyp but when i get a message the comments won't open, the button even even greys out so it knows im tapping it, ive tried deleting and restarting and nothing works, anyone else deal with this? I use a galaxy s25 ultra btw
