I posted my recreations of popular videos and they didn't perform even 5% as good even though I used the same #'s, sound and effects, why do my videos dont perform even a little bit as good? Is this just a lottery?

I tested this once with my best performing post - I used the same audio, similar but slightly different clips, and similar on screen text but it didn’t do nearly as well. I truly think having a really popular video is random and has to hit the right people at the right time.
