Age restrictions?

Ok so because my younger cousins came into my room and told me that TikTok had age restrictions her after she told a creep she was 15 and now she can’t text her friends anymore because that’s the only place she has them added and I’m pissed and also sad since those are the only real friends she has, is there any way around it? If so please let me know.

If she's in the UK or Australia all she has to do is wait till she's 16 and provide ID.
