TikTok is a joke..... I made a DnD joke

Yeah TikTok has been kinda odd lately. I got my messages privileges taken from me until 8/23 for I guess saying smth inappropriate and I never did. The group chat that im in also keeps getting suspended for no reason. We can say something like that “No way!” Or “Are we serious?” We get flagged for it and for some reason I got blocked from messaging for a month. I already sent an appeal yesterday and I’m waiting for a response.

I've also had a comment get taken down for using the phrase "this mf". My comment was about my favorite sandwich. It's absolutely ridiculous that gets flagged by the community guidelines system, but I appealed it and my appeal did get approved.

Edit: Getting a strike upheld for that is so stupid, the system is such a mess. The only strike I received recently was for a screenshot from a horror movie where the characters had a lot of blood on their faces, so I can kind of understand although I think it's silly.

I got a strike for adding a quote of something they said in the video that they obviously allow on their platform.

I have received warnings for pointing out that an AI generated video was romanticizing child brides and pedophilia (like a 7yo girl and a man in his 30s). I hate tiktok.

My lives keep getting restricted cuz there's literally nothing that you're allowed to talk about anymore. Talk about your experience with mental health not allowed Talk about hair dye not allowed. I got restricted making brownies cuz we talked briefly about homophobics. It's stupid. But people can have politically charged lives and they're fine. (I'm sure this comes down to whether or not you're making tik tok money though)

It’s crazy because I will receive some of the most horrific and disgusting comments sometimes and nothing seems to happen to those people.

Reddit ain’t much better.

I got a violation for saying “those crackers look good 😑”

Social media has become very sensitive & it was much better a few yrs or so ago. The feelings police are in full force & you just gotta be careful of your words.
