Does TikTok still serve APK downloads on their website?

whenever i visit their website (tiktok.com/download) it keeps redirecting me to google play and when i turn on desktop site, it just shows qr codes which lead directly back to tiktok.com/download

also their support page (tiktok.com/support/faq_detail?id=7581820706565085707) says that APK downloads are available which just confuses me even more :(
