Getting messages from my friend, but they are from other DMs he has.

As you can see in the images, I will randomly get a notification from my phone that he has messaged me, I go to look and it’s something completely random, almost as if he’s relying to someone else’s message. I would also like to point out how both times it’s been about a very sensitive topic, one that him and myself rarely ever discuss (we talk about religion/politics). He also swears he never sent these messages to me, and forgets sending them at all in fact. Has anyone else experienced this strange issue?
