Americans are the most confusing people in the whole world. Yes I assume this person was American

Repeating a "joke" about SA isn't a defense, it's evidence of intent. She screenshotted her own DM to a real person with a real career and name attached, then bragged about doing it multiple times, which makes the "it was just banter" line fall apart fast. Actual victims reading this internalize it, and people around them start treating false accusations like a punchline, which makes reporting harder for everyone. Her posting a follow-up trying to rally sympathy while still not actually apologizing to the guy she targeted is the most telling part. The fact that he's apparently already moved forward with legal paperwork and she's still playing the victim card on her story says a lot.

I feel people who make up being SA'd should do prison time, as someone who survived trafficking and believe pedos should be put down, because it is that serious.

Is she a kid? I'm definitely NOT making excuses for her, but people made these sorts of "jokes" all the time when I was in middle school and high school. Difference being, we didn't have social media back then and so there were never any consequences.

Sometimes, I think, "holy shit, we've reached an all-time low" but then I remember the kind of "jokes" people (mostly the boys, tbh) made in middle school. If those things were posted online today, the consequences would be (rightfully) extreme.
