TikTok Broken Again?

i just posted about the same thing. yes it's like the personalization algo is completely broken or something. it's just the most generic shit on my fyp now

They should, in my opinion, add a "block creator" option to the long press menu.

I have a suspicion that going to a creator's page counts as positive engagement. Plenty of the outright shop accounts I've blocked, have sent more of the same crap to my FYP

i just came on here to make a post about this, i keep getting vietnamese paid partnership videos on my fyp for gac motor, and like half of the videos on my fyp just arent the type of stuff i engage with, theyre the sort of videos you see when you first create your account (im also in the uk)

Have the same issue. Nothing is personalised to my interests like it used to be, it's all just generic view farming slop and sports (which I have specified I'm not interested in through settings). Hitting not interested serves no purpose anymore, I have to scroll through 20 posts to get one post catered to my interests. 🫩

My new content barely gets 100 views but a 2-year-old post (that initially only did ok) is inexplicably going viral, just hit about 250k.

for me it's ALWAYS religious tiktoks and I filtered them and they still keep popping up and I never searched any of them up nor am i religious as it did stopped sometime between 2024 and 2025 but recently it started to happen again and I have to keep blocking them.

like it's getting annoying so badly like i reported some of them and tiktok doesn't take them down which sucks bc i don't want them and they're AI generated too!!! which is worse!!! tbh i rather have the AI generated reddit stories than the AI generated jesus/god/religious tiktoks on my fyp

I Tiktok it broken. Every time I open the app it freezes and closes me out. Something it wrong with Tiktok.

I randomly repeatedly get videos in Swedish ?! Even since the app got bought out by that American guy, my fyp has been garbage. I’m not even from the US
