You can't delet replies after the original commenter blocks you, why???

I replied to someone's comment, and a lot of people started to favorite it, along with a few really unkind comments. I'll admit I was probably a little more righteous than necessary and it didn't feel good given the disagreement.

I could not access my comment because the original comment blocked me. Weirdly enough it allowed me to continue to reply to comments, but I couldn't see the thread. Just really bizarre.

People kept replying but I couldn't see the thread, and so it wasn't worth the stress I just delted my account.

I tried to view the video from another account and the video is gone now. I sure hope that it wasn't because of the ongoing disagreement that I started. Feeling terrible right now and stressed out.

Now I'm wondering if this is some weird strategy people do so people are locked out of their comments. Well, it worked I guess. But I still think this is an issue that TikTok should fix. Twisted lesson of committing to your words, and thinking before you speak. Because I'm thinking "This is terrible the app doesn't allow you to have control over what you post," but really...we do have control over what we post😅 Still yet, I think this is an issue.
