getting emails in different language to verify account

every few months ill get an email with a verification code in a foreign language.

i recall making the account years ago, but never verifying it or using it.

one of the last few times this happened, i tried logging in to the account by changing my password. after receiving a code in my email inbox, i tried inputting it into the app however it kept coming up with an error that the account does not exist.

the account does exist when i look it up, and it has some randoms following it (with names in the same language as that that i'm getting the emails in)

any thoughts please?
