Tiktok keeps removing features

Why does tiktok randomly remove features all the time? They randomly take away my ability to use clear display, take away my ability to hold down the side of my screen and use 2x speed, take away my ability to use stickers in comment sections, and many other features after I become accustomed to them. I really feel like they're doing this on purpose, but I can't explain my reasoning without sounding like a conspiracy theorist. Is anyone else's app doing the same thing?

They also roll out unnecessary features that serve no purpose other than to inconvenience you, for example the way holding down the like button reposts the video, or the way holding down the comment section button makes you comment something like " 🥰🥰🥰" its redundant and frustrating.
