Does the location you post from affects your engagement?

So I started an account for my brand and I had good views considering it's a brand new account. I am in no rush to have millions of followers, I am just trying to build a following and show off my brand.

But I am on vacation outside of the US and I feel the posts are not getting as many views as before. Does posting with a VPN solve the problem? My viewers yesterday were almost all in the Philippines and I am not even close to it.
