SOLUTION: Too many attempts TikTok password

I’m not sure if they’ve done an update or anything. But I had the too many attempts password issue for months on TikTok, so couldn’t get into my accounts.

I basically spoke to TikTok about my issue on the live chat in the app, they said try again after 24 hours. So I then continued to tell them and show screenshots that I had tried to log in to my account.

Then after 2 days of no response, all of a sudden I got payment in my bank that had been trapped from TikTok shop in that account. I then tried to reset my password, and bam it worked and let me login!
