how do i recover my tiktok account

I wanted to log in my tiktok account & i wanted to use the ask friends to verify option but tiktok said i couldnt use that method. anybody know why?? or how to fix this?

also obviously the problem is in my settings because my friend asked me to verify her acc but it said that it couldnt be verified
