why does everyone try to fit into brandy?

tldr: why does it feel like brandy has to be inclusive when other brands don’t have to be?

this is not meant to be a fatphobic rant i’m geniunely just curious and looking for someone to explain.

from the jump brandy melville clothing has been marketed towards taller, skinnier women. while yes their clothes are stretchy, i thought is was somewhat common knowledge that one size can’t fit all.

i understand that inclusion is important but does it need to be everything? im not going into a torrid trying on everything, then getting upset when some things are too big and then start asking for inclusivity. i just accept that this store isn’t for me, i am not the demographic meant to be shopping in this store. but for brandy it seems like everyone is forcing themselves into these petite pieces when they lowkey LOWKEY bussing out the seams😭

why can’t brandy just be for petite women in the same way that torrid is a plus size only brand? does americas obsession with skinny culture play a role in this? idk maybe this is because i bought some sweatpants that are a little too baggy and i know that if this was 2020 brandy they would fit like a charm lol.
