Do accounts that post clips of shows make money from them?

In my experience, there was a massive way of accounts posting clips from television shows and movies in 2024. The most major ones I see are Shameless, Fresh Off the Boat, Young Sheldon, American Housewife, etc. You know the videos. Recently I've been seeing lots of Desperate Housewives

They slowed down after 2025, but it got me wondering whether they make money from these videos. Because I hear that you make money from your videos if your video is over 1 minute or something like that? And I'm not sure if this contributes to anything, but they're shows, so people will naturally watch them. Not to mention the videos often have lots of bots in the comments for engagement. These accounts post so many videos. Are these accounts just farming for views and getting money from it? Or are they unable to make money from them?
