How to disable tiktok shop?

So I had my birthday on tiktok set to a year older than I actually was, and today was my 18th birthday according to tiktok, and suddenly every other scroll is tiktok shop. Is there any way to disable it? I was thinking of just changing my age a year back so I wouldn't get the tiktok shop or all the other features I suddenly have access to now that I'm "18" (none of these features I like), but it seems there's no way to do that either.​
