Driving whilst on live feed

I’m just wondering what everyone’s thoughts on this are - so I came across a truck driver on a live feed with the camera facing the road whilst the person driving. He was talking to the people on the live and replying to comments by talking.

This is someone driving a truck, paying half their attention to a live feed whilst driving in the dark…I reported it to TikTok but apparently it doesn’t break any rules.

As a fellow road user I’d really hope anyone driving would be paying full attention to the road and not half to their phone on a live feed even if it isn’t directly in their hand but are clearly still looking at the phone every few seconds.

In fact is a motor offence?

Distracted driving is a offense in most us municipalities and Highway codes. Imagine being upset about something that actually matters and could change the world for other people.

I follow a few creators that have headphones on and some type of device that translates the messages to audio in their ear. Hopefully if someone is driving they have that device so they can hear comments and respond without having to read the chat.
